My Daughter’s Morbidly Heart-Felt Note To Great-Grandma

note to great-grandma

My seven-year-old daughter loves leaving notes for everyone. They’re usually something simple like “I love you” with a picture of a butterfly or something harmless like that. We were all thrown back a bit when she left this note for her great-grandma, though.

I love you when you die

and she drew a stick figure carrying flowers to a tombstone. Her great-grandma isn’t dead, yet. She’s in her early 80s and is still very active for someone her age. Although I’m sure it was more meant that my daughter will love her great-grandma even after she’s passed on, this note had us all chuckling through the rest of the night.
