Intellivision announces New Game System – Intellivision Amico

At the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, Intellivision announced their brand new system coming out here in a couple of years, the Intellivision Amico. It promises a lot for a lower price point, but will it deliver?

This gaming console is set to release October of 2020. Features a couple of wireless gamepads that also charge wirelessly. If your game requires more controllers, you can use your phone as a controller, too. All the old Intellivision classics redone and reimagined. A system that has colors that change with gameplay and more. It looks interesting, but we'll see.

I was a pretty big fan of Intellivision back in the day and am looking forward to seeing if this thing is worth it. Time will tell.
