Retired porn actress Jenna Jameson, star of such films as Zombie Strippers and Philmore Butts Taking Care of Business, has some political views she'd like to share — "alt right" views, as well as tweeted defenses for the Ku Klux Klan and scandalized alt right pundit Milo Yiannopoulos. This has surprised some of her fans, who evidently expected sharper insights from a woman who chose "Jameson" as her stage name because, as she once said in her ghostwritten autobiography How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale, "it was the name of a whiskey, and whiskey was rock 'n' roll."

In a series of tweets this week, Jameson called Yiannopoulos "an important conservative leader for this generation." Yiannopoulous was banned from Twitter in part due to leading a racist campaign against SNL cast member Leslie Jones (including sharing fake screenshots he falsely claimed were from Jones), and recently lost both a controversial book deal with Simon and Schuster and his job at Breitbart News after an unearthed recording showed him appearing to condone pedophilia.

Jameson, a staunch Trump supporter, also shared her firm belief that Sweden is "the rape capital of the world" ostensibly due to an influx of Muslim refugees, parroting a vague and unsubstantiated February 18 claim by Donald Trump about "what happened last night in Sweden" (ABC News pointed out that there hasn't been a terrorist attack in Sweden since 2010, and nonpartisan fact-checking site Politifact hasn't been able to verify that Sweden has the highest number of reported rapes by any metric).

Jameson also cited a report of a 14-year-old child bride in Sweden; unfortunately, as the Washington Post recently pointed out, 27 states have no minimum age requirement for marriage here in the United States, and that "in 38 states, more than 167,000 children — almost all of them girls, some as young as 12 — were married during that period, mostly to men 18 or older" from 2000 to 2010. It's unclear whether Jameson is aware of that stateside statistic.

When Jenna was asked if she thought all Muslims — 1.6 billion people, or 23% of the world's population according to a 2010 study from Pew Research — she replied, "I don't 'hate' them... I disagree with absolutely everything they represent, and I am utterly unafraid to express my opinion," and clung to individual anecdotes (and reports from sites including one named "MadWorldNews") as evidence of, quote, "Muslim rape gangs." She has yet to specify how many actual Muslims she has interacted with in real life.
