Despite rumors that he would not play, legendary rock guitarist Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin shocked the crowd gathered at Paul Allen's Experience Music Project in Seattle last night when he jumped on stage and blistered through a searing rendition of the classic Zep tune "Rock And Roll".

Page was accompanied by such Seattle-area and rock-'n-roll luminaries as Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains, Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen, Kim Thayil of Soundgarden, Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan, Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes and vocalist Paul Rodgers, among many others. Even Microsoft co-founder and EMP founder Paul Allen got in on the jam session.
