John 5 and The Creatures have released a party-filled new music video for the two-part song "Crank It - Living with Ghosts" from his upcoming album Invasion.

The first part of the video shows people dancing covered in fluorescent paint while the band plays in glow-in-the-dark skeleton outfits. The visual distortions combined with the electronic-backed beat work to simulate a rave party. As the "Crank It" part of the song abruptly ends and the neon colors fade to gray, John's guitar riffs slow and have more of an evil feel. All of the people reappear in dark clothing, wearing horror-themed masks. See the video below.

The juxtaposition of themes in the video serve to depict an experience going to a party. "This video begins with total acid-trip rave party for 'Crank It', and the second portion of the song, 'Living With Ghosts', is the come down. This video depicts all of the things you secretly want when you go to a party — craziness, indulgence." John says.

Invasion is set for release this summer and will be released as a series of individual videos until then. "Crank It - Living With Ghosts" is the second video to be released from this album, following "Zoinks!" and he plans to release the next video at the top of March.

John 5 and The Creatures will hit the road Feb. 26 to start their tour in support of Invasion, and "high caliber mystery guests are to be announced very soon," according to the press release. See the full list of dates here.
