Since the release of their new album ‘Disarm the Descent,’ Killswitch Engage have been touring nonstop. New York City fans will get a special treat on Oct. 12 when the major metal act plays an intimate show at the tiny Santos Party House as part of the second annual CBGB Festival.

In a press release, Killswitch frontman Jesse Leach states, "I am excited to be a part of the CBGB fest. The music that came out of the early punk and hardcore scene changed my life and CBGBs was a big part of that scene.”

Leach goes on to say, “Playing a smaller intimate venue like Santos Party House gives us a chance to change stuff up and give fans a different KsE show with a diversified setlist. Saturday will be a night to remember!"

With no barricades and no separation between bands and the crowd, Santos Party House is known for being an insane venue for metal maniacs.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 10AM ET. Fans will be able to purchase here, for the price of $25. Proceeds from the show will be donated to The FC Foundation, an organization whose goal is to fight cancer by raising awareness about early cancer detection through education. Find out more information about the FC Foundation here.

A limited number of CBGB Fest badge-holders will be admitted to the show, as well. Support for the gig includes New York City based band Eye Ra Haze.

Killswitch Engage are also set to play a much bigger NYC venue, Roseland Ballroom, on Oct. 25 on their tour with Lamb of God, Testament and Huntress. Go here to see a full list of dates.
