Marilyn Manson is fulfilling a dream, taking part in the seventh and final season of one of his favorite TV shows, 'Sons of Anarchy.' It was recently announced that not only would Manson contribute some music for the show, but he would have a recurring role in the series. Manson has now started filming and a few pictures from his first day on the set have surfaced online.

The rocker looks quite bad ass, sporting some darkened sunglasses, a leather jacket and tattoos across his neck, chest and hand. Manson is playing the role of Ron Tully, a white supremacist prison shot-caller whom Jax (Charlie Hunnam) uses to expand his power base.

Manson stated recently about being cast, "'Sons' has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's. So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of 'Sons of Anarchy' is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle."

Earlier this spring, show creator Kurt Sutter tweeted that he was listening to one of Manson's new songs, a track that he called "potent, creepy and cool." He also teased that the rocker would appear as "the guy riding the dragon" in the series.

This is not Manson's first acting gig, as he's previously made guest appearances on HBO's 'Eastbound and Down,' Showtime's 'Californication' and in such films as 'Lost Highway,' 'Jawbreaker' and 'Party Monster.'

'Sons of Anarchy' will return to the airwaves on FX this September. Check out the photos from the first day of shooting below.
