While pitchers and catchers don't report to camp in Peoria, AZ until February, 14th, Seattle Mariners faithful in the Yakima Valley were the first in the Northwest to get their baseball itch scratched today when the annual Seattle Mariners caravan stopped at the Yakima Valley SunDome.

Mariners sixth-year radio broadcaster Aaron Goldsmith was on hand to introduce and interview the club's mascot as well as pitcher Marco Gonzales, catcher, Mike Marjama, and utility man Taylor Motter.

The players fielded questions from fans in attendance - young and old - and raffled off myriad prizes to those who attended the free event.
