Motley Crue have taken the next step in bringing their outrageous biography 'The Dirt' to the big screen, signing with Focus Features to develop the project.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Focus is promising "a 'Dr. Feelgood' movie that will be an outrageous, larger-than-life depiction of the band's high (and low) life." The group had previously announced that Jeff Tremaine, best known for his work on 'Jackass,' will direct the feature.

The 'Dirt' book chronicles the Motley Crue's rise to fame, their dalliances with decadence and all of the hijinks that surrounded their '80s era madness. Rich Wilkes and Tom Kapinos penned the screenplay for the movie and casting will begin shortly.

In other Crue news, singer Vince Neil is bringing two of his passions together in early February. Neil, who recently was granted permission to launch an Arena Football team in Las Vegas, is throwing a Super Bowl party at one of his eateries.

Vince Neil's Tatuado Eat Drink Party Restaurant & Bar, which is located inside Las Vegas' Circus Circus Hotel, will host a Super Bowl bash on Feb. 1 with Neil himself on hand for the festivities. The rocker will also raffle off signed memorabilia at his Super Bowl party. For reservations, call 702-691-5991.
