Sunday afternoon I had the chance to cross an item off of my "Bucket List" by sitting in the press box and going down onto the field during a Seattle Seahawks game. The photo above is the view from where I was sitting as a member of the "Seahawks Scouting Department" (which was the section that was reserved for us.)

It was cool to not only get into the game for free, but to enjoy the breakfast buffet with a number of ex-players who are now professional broadcasters as well as many great journalists I have watched, listened to and read over the years.  Folks like ESPN's John Clayton, Dan Shaugnessey, Art Thiel, Steve Kelly, John Hickey as well as former Hawks Dave Wyman and Paul Moyer plus Hall of Famer Cortez Kennedy!

The press pass also allowed me to go down onto the playing field for the final three minutes of the game to see the thrilling comeback and snap some unbelievable shots following Sidney Rice's game-winning touchdown reception and subsequent celebration with WR Golden Tate.
