As we fill you in on which Nintendo classics of yesteryear are coming to the Virtual Console, be prepared for some GBA goodness and one of the greatest platformers of all time.

Nintendo has officially announced the main titles that will be hitting the Virtual Console for the month of April. On April 3, we can expected the Wii U's Virtual Console to get Advance Wars, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Metroid Fusion, all of which were Game Boy Advance classics released in the early 2000s. All three of these GBA titles will sell for the price of $7.99. Advance Wars brought about a modern, yet charming, take on grid-based real-time strategy. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga continued the amazing role-playing game mechanics that were first introduced with Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

On April 10, Kirby & The Amazing Mirror and WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames! will be two new additions to the Wii U's GBA library on the Virtual Console, each priced for $6.99. WarioWare features of 200 minigames while The Amazing Mirror features some amazing platforming as Kirby takes on Dark Meta Knight.

April 17 will see in the additions of Golden Sun ($7.99), an amazing RPG that was released on the GBA and F-Zero: Maximum Velocity ($6.99), a solid, portable entry of the futuristic racing series which was also released on GBA. The third title released on this day will be Super Mario Bros. 3, which will be priced at $4.99 and will be available on the Virtual Consoles for both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. If you have never played Super Mario Bros. 3, shame on you -- please do yourself a favor and play this timeless and flawless platformer.

Finally, April 24 will mark the debut of Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 on the Wii U for $7.99. Super Mario Advance 3 is pretty much a port of the original Yoshi's Island for SNES, but it still remains the definitive Yoshi title for fans of Mario's loyal companion.
