Following the unveiling of a number of photos of Kurt Cobain's death scene in recent weeks, CBS has obtained a copy of a note found in the Nirvana frontman's wallet at the time of his death.

The handwritten note, obtained from files released by the Seattle Police Department, mocks Cobain's wedding vows with Courtney Love. Written on stationery from the Phoenix Hotel in San Francisco, the note reads partially as follows:

"Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife, even when she’s a bitch with zits and siphoning all (your) money for doping and whoring…”

The rest of the note is cut off in the picture shown by CBS. It should be stated that this note is separate from Cobain's suicide note, which read in part, "I have a goddess of a wife who sweats ambition and empathy and a daughter who reminds me too much of what i used to be, full of love and joy, kissing every person she meets because everyone is good and will do her no harm."

Cobain died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on April 5, 1994. As stated, the revelation of the note follows a slew of death-scene photos that were recently released by the Seattle Police Department, the last two of which were disturbing pictures showing parts of Cobain's body.
