We all know Patrick Swayze in the movie "Road House" was a God-like Manly Man of a Man! And even if you don't believe that, the NYPD does -- and they're using a clip of the 1989 film to help teach the city's cops how to behave. The police are using a scene as part of a mandatory, $35 million three-day retraining program for more than 22,000 cops to help them learn best-behavior practices.

"You have to have a thick skin," an instructor tells cops before he hits play on the two-minute clip from the cult classic action flick.

It's a good lesson: Be nice until it's time to not. Better than learning this "Road House" lesson from Peter Griffin.
