Well, they aren't just well-sourced rumors anymore... the Seattle Seahawks have announced the new coaching staff.

The Seahawks made it official as they announced Brian Schottenheimer as the new offensive coordinator, Ken Norton Jr. defensive coordinator and Mike Solari offensive line coach. Solari has an extensive resume which includes many years working for Marty Schottenheimer.

While he was still technically on staff though he has interviewed for job openings such as the head coaching job in Indy, Kris Richard, who served as defensive coordinator the past three seasons, was officially fired. Also leaving is linebackers coach/assistant head coach/defense Michael Barrow.

The Seahawks relieved previous offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and offensive line coach/assistant head coach Tom Cable of their duties last week.

This is not the first time in Seattle for Norton, nor his first time with head coach Pete Carroll as you may know. For those that didn't keep up, Norton spent the past three seasons as the Oakland Raiders’ defensive coordinator.
