Though we're still not sure what Ozzy Osbourne's next move will be concerning new music, the iconic rocker's solo catalog will be the basis of a new career-spanning CD and DVD release.

'Memoirs of a Madman' is set to arrive in both CD and DVD form on Oct. 7, revisiting both Ozzy's audio and video history. The audio disc features 17 of Osbourne's greatest hit singles and it will be released in single-CD, two-LP and two-LP picture disc formats. Pre-orders are available now at Amazon.

As for the DVD, it's a two-disc offering providing a mix of music videos, unreleased and out-of-print live performances and interviews from his solo career. The collection of non-music video content is quite impressive, with live performances from a number of venues throughout the years as well as multiple MTV appearances turning up in the collection. It's also available for pre-order via Amazon. Track listings for both the CD and DVD offerings are provided at the bottom of this post.

Fans have already unlocked the album's artwork and can now check out a trailer for the collection thanks to a social networking campaign. Check here to view the trailer.

In addition to the standard CD and DVD, there will also be a number of autographed limited edition fan bundles available. Check here for additional details.
