After a bunch of cryptic tweets and hints, Thom Yorke has now come right out and admitted Radiohead are currently in the studio at work on their next album.

Yorke tweeted yesterday (Sept. 23) that the band did overdubs during the second day of recording and said he and Stanley Donwood -- the artist who has designed all of Radiohead's album and poster art since 1994 -- were going through 15 years' worth of unused images and lyrics.

The album -- Radiohead's ninth -- will follow-up their 2011 effort, 'The King of Limbs.' Drummer Phil Selway recently told NME he had "no idea" what the new record will sound like. "I have absolutely no idea," he said. "And that's what keeps us all there until the end."

Selway will also release his own solo album, 'Weatherhouse' on Oct. 6.
