For a guy who was born in downtown Los Angeles in 1963 the only thing better than getting to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers in concert is seeing them in concert in Rams uniforms before the Rams/Seahawks game on Sunday. At the end of their 2 song set (they just sang "Can't Stop" and "Dark Necessities") Flea took off his #3 with "Flea" on the back and tossed it out into the assembled crowd at the base of the stage. I would have given my left nut for that jersey as it's now a piece of history.

I'm not sure who was selected to be at field level for that but I'm guessing it was the sons and daughters of corporate CEO's, Los Angeles radio celebrities, actors and actresses and folks who've purchased suites in the Los Angeles Rams stadium set to open in 2019. They sure as heck weren't the riff raff I was associated with in row 69 on the 10 yard line... I only say that because I was surrounded by Seahawk fans who bought resale tickets. For a moment (prior to kickoff), we were all just football fans taking in the excitement of the first pro football game played in Los Angeles in 22 years... no the XFL doesn't count.
