The last full-length Finch studio album was 2005's 'Say Hello to Sunshine.' After playing some reunion shows for the 10th anniversary of their 'What It Is to Burn' album, they released the 'What It Is to Burn - X' live CD/DVD in January. Now they have signed with Razor & Tie for a new studio record.

The band states, “It’s been an incredibly productive and busy year for us. We’re excited about our partnership with Razor & Tie and can’t wait to get our new record out this year. Razor & Tie pursued us from the beginning of our anniversary shows last year and has shown a lot of faith in the band. We’re making what we feel is a powerful and meaningful record and we couldn’t be happier about all the support Razor & Tie have given to us.”

Razor & Tie A&R executive Mike Gitter, who signed the band, says, "Finch are as vital a live band and as focused a creative force as they were when 'What It Is To Burn' was released. The new songs they’ve spent the past year writing are classic Finch with the poise and muscle of a band as locked-in and fired up as ever.  We’re excited to be working together."

Finch are in the midst of recording their third full-length studio album with producer Brian Virtue (Deftones, Thirty Seconds to Mars). No exact release date has been given yet, but a new single is expected to be unleashed in June.

The band will be playing some Warped Tour dates this summer. They'll be on the bill starting with the Houston, Texas date on June 13 and will wrap up their stint July 6 in Holmdel, N.J.
