Standup comedian/actor/musician Rodney Carrington is coming to Yakima this summer for a June 29 show at The Capitol Theatre.

Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. this Friday (May 4) at The Capitol Theatre box office or on the theater's website -- but thanks to us (you're welcome!) you can get in on a presale from 10 a.m. Wednesday through 10 p.m. Thursday. Just hit this link and enter this special code: RODNEY

After eight albums, his own sitcom ("Rodney") and a 2008 movie ("Beer for My Horses"), the dry-witted Oklahoman has established himself as a force on stage, on air and on screen. His recordings have sold more than 3 million copies. One, “Morning Wood,” has been certified gold, and his “Greatest Hits” has gone platinum, according to the RIAA.

Carrington also regularly sells out venues across the United States and Canada. He's among the 10 highest grossing touring comedians during the past decade, according to Pollstar -- and among the top five in the past couple of years.

In 2011, he presented at the American Country Awards and hosted the "American Country New Year's Eve Live" show on Fox.

His new Netflix special, "Here Comes the Truth," is available now on iTunes and Google Play.
