Seahawks’ Punter Jon Ryan Named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month

The 9-year pro from Canada won his first such award for his fantastic footwork in September, and is only the second Seahawks' punter to win the award.

Ryan has only punted 12 times Seattle's first three games,  averaging 48.3 yards per punt. He was especially effective against the Denver Broncos, booting a free kick 79 yards after a Broncos safety.
