Seattle International Beerfest This Weekend

Are you a hop-head? Lager-lover?  Do you like your malted beverages thick and dark just like you like your...  eh, nevermind.

Whatever your preference, it will be beer heaven this weekend in the Puget Sound. The Seattle International Berfest is a high end 3-day beer festival specializing in rare, hard-to-find, exotic beers. Over 200 world-class beers from 16 countries will be on hand, hailing from all over the planet, many from right here in the Pacific NW. Stroll around their beautiful grounds with a cold one as you listen to great bands play LIVE MUSIC all weekend!

The fest opened today and runs until 10pm tonight. Saturday, July 7th hours are 12pm-10pm and Sunday, July 8th runs from 12pm-7pm. 

It is being held at Seattle Center Fisher Pavilion and Lawn, about 200 yards NW of the Space Needle (321 Mercer Street Seattle, Wa.)

Admission is only $25 (on website), or $30 at gate. Entry includes an official SIB glass, 10 scrip (beer tickets) and an express line entry.  Once in you are wilcome to re-enter ALL WEEKEND but you must have your glass & wristband - NO EXCEPTIONS.  Cash only is accepted at the event.

I.D. is required for everyone regardless of age, but you can bring your dog!  S.I.B. is pet friendly!  Animals are not required to produce documentation verifying age, I assume.

Plent of FREE activities, including:
- Darts (steel tip), backgammon, checkers/chess, and cards which can be checked out for your use at the at 'Extra Ticket Booth'.
