The Seahawks will travel to Denver for a rematch with the Broncos, host San Diego and Chicago, and finish on the road in Oakland when the NFL's 2014 preseason kicks off in August.

The National Football League and the Seahawks came out with the schedule on Wednesday. Specific dates will be announced next week.

Seahawks.com reported on Wednesday:

Seattle will open the preseason against the same opponent they closed out in Super Bowl XLVIII -- the defending AFC champion Denver Broncos -- in a Week 1 (Aug. 7-10) game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. They'll then return home to CenturyLink Field in Week 2 (Aug. 14-18) and Week 3 (Aug. 21-24) for matchups with the San Diego Chargers and Chicago Bears. Finally, the Seahawks will close exhibition play against the Raiders in Oakland, facing off versus the silver and black for the ninth consecutive preseason.

All preseason and regular season games will be heard on AM 1280 and FM 99.3, Newstalk KIT.
