Yakima City Council met on Tuesday night. On their agenda was a new soccer complex.City manager Tony O'Rourke was heard saying that he expected the approval of the soccer complex. The city must first annex the property before investing money in the project.  The investment for the city would be about $4.1 million dollars of the $11.8 million dollar project.

The soccer complex would include 19 fields and an indoor facility. The property would be southwest of the airport.

What do you think? Do you think the city should spend that much money on a soccer complex? What should they spend the money on if the city really has that much money for soccer?
