Nikki Sixx, as usual, has had his hands full with multiple projects in 2013. But as the year is coming to an end, the bassist reveals that Sixx: A.M. are putting the finishing touches on a new album due out in 2014.

Earlier this year, Sixx was balancing touring with Motley Crue with songwriting sessions in his downtime from the stage, but as the year continued he was able to put more focus into Sixx: A.M.

Though the new Sixx: A.M. album will arrive in 2014, an official title or release date have not been nailed down. However, with things progressing at the pace they are, it may not be long before we have that information.

In a series of new tweets, Sixx revealed the band's progress. His comments read as follows:

In other Nikki Sixx news, the rocker used his Twitter account to throw a jab at Godsmack frontman Sully Erna. Fans will likely remember Erna being critical of Motley Crue and one person in particular from the band over their treatment on Crue Fest. Godsmack would later release the single 'Cryin' Like a Bitch' and Erna admitted that it was inspired by the events of their tour with Motley Crue. Sixx and Sully have jabbed back and forth in the past, and Sixx's latest tweet about Erna reads as follows:

Could it be that Sixx is referring to Sully Erna's acting role in the new movie 'Army of the Damned'? Who knows? Whatever it is, it's apparent the beef still exists between the two rockers. To keep up on all things Nikki Sixx, his Twitter account can be found here.
