Rob Scallon is an absolute beast. The man has accumulated millions of YouTube views by playing metal classics on non-metal instruments, and Scallon has struck gold once again by jamming Slayer's 'Angel of Death' on the banjo.

Scallon has performed Cannibal Corpse's 'Frantic Disembowelment' on the ukulele and System of a Down's 'Aerials' on the cello, but Slayer seems to be Scallon's main muse. Covers of Slayer's 'War Ensemble' on ukulele and 'Raining Blood' on banjo have both gone viral, while a cello version of 'Spill the Blood' has gotten a massive amount of views as well.

To accompany Scallon's unholy Slayer trinity, a ripping video of 'Angel of Death' showcases some of the most unbelievable shredding in banjo history. This type of fret-melting dexterity shouldn't even be possible on the banjo, but our jaws have been dropped yet again. Plus, you can't go wrong with overalls, straw hats and brutal thrash metal.
