Fiber Optic Work Will Slow Tuesday Morning Traffic On Interstate 82

Motorists should prepare for some slowdowns along Interstate 82 between Union Gap and Yakima Avenue on Tuesday morning as crews install fiber optic cable between 10 and 11 a.m. along the freeway. Fat Beem workers, contracting with the state Department of Transportation, are installing the cable, which will help West Valley, East Valley and Yakima schools stay connected.
