Legendary Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin is selling off a huge portion of his personal drum collection. Over 200 pieces will be up for sale starting tomorrow (Feb. 22) and fans are free to shell out cash to own Chamberlin’s gear.

An insane amount of Chamberlin’s history as a drummer reside in these kits. One full kit that should get fans’ attention is the White Marine Pearl Yamaha Maple Custom kit, which was used during the Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness sessions. However, the crown jewel of this collection may be Jimmy’s Slingerland Radio King 14” x 8” snare drum. The snare was utilized for one of the Pumpkins’ most revered songs, “Today.”

Some touring kits will be up for sale also, including the unique Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute wrapped with lemon / green material. Chamberlin’s 14” x 12” marching snare can also be snatched up. Played on the Pumpkins’ 20th anniversary tour, the yellow and orange “Don’t Tread on Me” drum looks like a blast from the past.

Items from Chamberlin’s time with The Smashing Pumpkins, Zwan and other projects will all be for sale via Reverb. Rumors of a Pumpkins reunion with Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, James Iha and D'Arcy Wretzky have been circulating, so keep your eyes on Loudwire for all updates.
