Seattle’s iconic landmark, the Space Needle may get the go ahead next week to add three glass floored viewing platforms so visitors could look straight down.

Many people from Yakima visit Seattle’s Space Needle every year. It draws nearly 1.5 million total visitors annually from around the world. If it’s approved next week by the Landmarks Preservation Board, three viewing platforms extending out from the observation deck would be added.

They would have glass walls and a glass floor so people could look straight down.

Only a few inches of plexiglass between you and a 520 foot drop.

Think about it.
