Special Olympics Polar Plunge Was Awesome! [VIDEO]

The Yakima Valley Special Olympics and Yakima Police Department showed up in full force this weekend for an outstanding event. Polar Plunge 2016 was held at Sarg Hubbard Park in Yakima -- and it again raised a lot of money for our local Special Olympics!Yakima Training Center Law Enforcement and Yakima Police Department brought in the most cash for this event. Thanks to all who came and 'took the plunge!' It was cold, wet and fun! Kelly West from Townsquare Media brought the music and gave law enforcement the final countdown before the jump!

As of today, the event had brought in more than $7,700 for Special Olympics.
