One of the stories of manufactured outrage today is the furor from some tin foil hats over the new Starbucks Holiday Cup. In the past is was adorned with snowmen, snowflakes and other symbols of the holiday season. This year it's simply a red cup with their green logo ... traditional Christmas colors.

But Arizona pastor Joshua Feuerstein says "The cup is symbolic of a larger war against Christianity in this country. The policemen of political correctness have demanded that the silent majority bend its knee to a vocal minority." He thinks Starbucks hates Jesus and now even Donald Trump has stepped into the fray and suggested boycotting the coffee chain over the "cup". Here the link to that story.

In their response over the controversy Starbucks released this statement, "This year's design is another way Starbucks is inviting customers to create their own stories with a red cup that mimics a blank canvas". So in the spirit that the Seattle based coffee purveyor is offering here Todd and I have used their "blank canvas" to draw our Christmassy designs. I drew a Christmas tree elf and Todd drew Randy the Snowman ... enjoy!
