Philip H. Anselmo just keeps giving us reasons to visit Austin, Texas, for the 2014 Housecore Horror Film Festival. With a stellar lineup already in place, Housecore Horror just revealed a new round of acts, including GWAR and a Superjoint Ritual reunion!

Housecore Horror is shaping up to be a must-experience festival yet again. The lineup was already rich with acts such as Danzig, Samhain, Eyehategod, Neurosis, Cattle Decapitation and Portal signed on to play, but in the most exciting announcement yet, GWAR, Voivod, Corrections House, Mobile Deathcamp, Warmaster and Superjoint Ritual (who will perform under the name of Superjoint) have all been confirmed.

The resurrection of Superjoint parallels the triumphant return of GWAR, who performed their first show last weekend since the death of Dave Brockie. “I just got back from the GWAR-B-Q and can honestly say that, despite their monumental loss, the band proved that GWAR isn't just one man," says HHFF Creative Director Tammy Moore. "It's a collective that more than lives up to it's bigger than life mythos. These guys love Phil and the Housecore Fest and we're completely stoked that our patrons will get to see first-hand why Oderus himself must be beaming from the home planet at the force with which his brothers carry on the legacy!”
