Two people died and 23 were injured after a car driven by a drunken driver slammed into a crowd at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Tex., early this morning.

According to reports, police were chasing a black sedan when it broke through a barricade and hit several people outside a club called the Mohawk Bar. The two people who died were on a moped.

Many eyewitnesses posted images from the scene on Twitter this morning:

Police said the incident began around 12:30AM when a drunken driver was pulled over at a gas station. The suspect fled the scene and drove the wrong way down a one-way street, plowing into music fans leaving the bar. The suspect was arrested and now faces two counts of capital murder.
