Few would argue that HBO's 'True Blood' has been limping to the finish with its final season, but the last bit of blood will finally drop on August 24 with series finale installment "Thank You." To wit, HBO has released their spoilery synopsis for the finale, along with a brand new look at this Sunday's penultimate installment, "Love is to Die."

After six seasons, we're now in the midst of 'True Blood''s final outing, bringing the epic (and ridiculous and 'Twilight'-y at times) love story of Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) to an end. We've lost many memorable characters along the way, from the villainous Russell Edgington to the Vampire Authority to Sookie's own gram. Now, we honor those we lost with a supercut of the most noteworthy and, yeah, straight-up ridiculous deaths from the first six seasons of 'True Blood.'

‘True Blood’ season 7 spurts out its 4th episode of the final year, “Death Is Not the End,” as Eric and Pam return to Bon Temps just in time for Sookie, Bill and the others to mount a rescue mission at Fangtasia against the infected vampires, with deadly consequences.
