There are two Dairy Queen locations in Yakima!

This Friday is the 33rd annual Children' Miracle Network Radiothon -- the 6 a.m.-to-6 p.m. event benefits Children's Village in Yakima and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital.

It's the first day of spring and what better way to celebrate than getting free ice cream from Dairy Queen!

IHOP Restaurant is no longer in Yakima, but that's not stopping Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital from celebrating National Pancake Day today (March 7). If you'd like some FREE pancakes and learn how you can donate to Children's Miracle Network, we've got all the details.

Mayhem and Miracles took place on Saturday. A  local biker club, The Reckin' Crue, put the whole thing together. The mission was to gather money for the Children's Miracle Network and so they did!

I am very proud to be part of this community. I am especially proud that I am involved in the local bike club, the Reckin' Crue. They are all about charity and giving back to others. May 30 marked the second "Mayhem & Miracles" and the first poker run on a golf course. It was fantastic.

Children's Miracle Network is one amazing cause. It helps fund the NICU at Memorial Hospital and Children's Village right here in Yakima. This event is with the Reckin' Crue of Yakima. A full day event with all proceeds going to CMN!

The first weekend in August means one thing and one thing only in my household. Time for another wild weekend at the annual Moxee Hop Festival!

Only a couple of days left for the wrap up of the Children's Miracle Network 'Grateful Families' drive. KATS has team Liam and Logan and also team Tristan. To help raise money on the back stretch of this amazing event, KATS and Kelly West will be live at the Baskin Robbins at 3802 Nob Hill.

The Express Employment Clydesdales are coming to Yakima!

94.5 KATS has teamed up with 'Team Tristan' to gather up donations to help out the Children's Miracle Network. Tristan received services through Children's Miracle Network through Memorial Hospital and their NIC unit, so him and his family want to pay it forward. They have asked the amazing coffee shop in Selah, Tiffany's, to donate 25 cents of each coffee sold during Selah Community Days to CMN.

This Saturday I am so excited that I get to help announce something that is my favorite thing to do and it is for a Fantastic Cause! And you don't even need a fishing license!
