The WDR Symphony Orchestra adds a much-needed touch of class to flash mobs by rapidly convening in a square in Germany and serenading the assembled crowd with a piece of music. Of course, their decision to play the 'Star Wars' theme makes the whole thing border on geeky, but we're okay with that.

It seems as though teens have taken the flash mob to a new and criminal level by planning events called “flash robs,” during which they run screaming into a store, steal things in a frenzied mass and run out as quickly as they came in.

Every so often you'll see a creative proposal with flash mob and all of these people getting involved on the internet. They're usually in bigger cities, but rarely do you see anything like this in Yakima.
