Current Guns N’ Roses keyboardist Dizzy Reed has confirmed that the entire original lineup of the band will be in attendance for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony April 14 in Cleveland, Ohio.

You really never know what you’re going to get from Axl Rose in an interview, and it seems pretty clear that he isn’t exactly eager to discuss the possibility of reuniting the original Guns N’ Roses lineup for a performance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony next year.

When the 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees were announced today (Dec. 7), Red Hot Chili Peppers were among the honorees along with Guns N’ Roses, Beastie Boys and others. RHCP frontman Anthony Kiedis commented on the induction, calling it both emotional and a great sense of achievement.

The 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class will feature three bands that have helped shape rock music over the past 25 years — Guns N’ Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Beastie Boys were all announced as inductees today (Dec. 7). The ceremony will take place April 14 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland.

On Monday night, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted several more music legends into its ranks, including Alice Cooper, Neil Diamond, Dr. John, Darlene Love, Tom Waits, Jac Holzman, Art Rupe  and Leon Russell. The ceremony included performances by the inductees, with appearances by Elton John, Bette Midler, Paul Simon, John Mayer, Neil Young, John Legend and Rob Zombie...
