There's a saying that goes something like, "The sun doesn't shine on the same dog's behind every day". Basically, one can't expect to have everything go in their favor all the time. My 16 year-old son, Drew, is putting that adage to the test.

Not only is the weather just amazing in our area, but today just happens to be my favorite day: Friday the 13th. Everyone freaks out on this day. Most people think that it being the 13th, then it is not lucky. Well I am here to tell you that it is a lucky day.
