The debate of who's a "bandwagon" Seahawks fan and who isn't will probably continue to be debated ad nauseum. There really is no empirical proof, it's just one opinion against another. But what city in the state of Washington has the most enthusiastic fans? THAT has been determined! Sort of. Here comes the science ...

It was just a matter of time. Hours, really.

Last week New Life Church in Renton blew our website up with a parody song about the Seahawks leading up to the NFC championship game.  That video alone created more than 400,000 hits to KATSFM.com! Not to be outdone, another Seattle-area church is attempting to up the ante with their latest send-up of a popular tune using the Hawks' most recent win for lyrical and visual inspiration.

Sunday (Jan. 25) from noon to 4 p.m. at the Columbia Center Mall in Tri Cities, you have a chance to write your name on the flag that will fly over CenturyLink Field during the Super Bowl on Feb. 1.

The Queen Ann Cannabis Club has made a new strain of marijuana with 5 percent more THC than the normal strain of weed. They say that it hits you hard and fast, so I guess it makes sense to name it after Seattle Seahawk running back Marshawn Lynch, who does exactly that.

Whether the Seattle Seahawks' opponent in Super Bowl XLIX actually cheated last Sunday remains to be determined, but the specter of the New England Patriots purposefully deflating game balls has led to some hilarious Internet memes and spoofs...

My brother Justin and I have been Seahawks season ticket holders for over a decade and fans of the team as long as we can remember.  Year after year we'd re-up our tickets with the hopes that SOMEDAY the Hawks would eventually make it to the Super Bowl and we could be in attendance for that magical day.  Obviously, that wish came true last year and again Sunday.
