Our armed forces are the reason why we live in a free country -- the great United States of America! We are free, and as long as our armed forces are around, we will always be free. Today (June 14) we celebrate the birth of our beloved United States Army! They are the largest of our armed forces as they serve us on the ground. June 14, 1775, is when the United States Army was formed.

A true War Hero! Staff Sgt. Ty Michael Carter is the 5th Medal Of Honor recipient that is still alive! What an amazing thing for this to happen. I wish I could have been there when he received it!
