Pot Is Legal Today In Washington State – Now What?

With the passage of Initiative- 502 last month, as of 12:01 this morning, possessing an ounce of marijuana is now legal in Washington state.

There seems to be much confusion as to what is now legal and what is still illegal.
The Seattle Police Department has set up a guide to legal marijuana use as it relates to citizens of that city but probably answer many general questions you may have as well.

Initiative 502 (why couldn’t it be I-420?) will be on the ballot in November asking Washington State voters whether or not the RECREATIONAL use of marijuana should be legal. It is already legal in this state for medicinal purposes. What do you think? Should marijuana be made legal for recreational use?

Washington Should Split Into Two, Creating a 51st State

There's been talk recently about California splitting up (basically North and South) creating two new states and thus a 51st in the Union. From people I talk to in the Yakima Valley, I get the feeling that they wouldn't mind if Washington State did the same, except into East and West.
