On this Memorial Day, I will once again shed a tear for those who died in vain. While it may not be politically correct to say it aloud, not all who fight and die do so for a noble cause.
On June 6, 1944, 72 years ago, an incredible and heart-wrenching thing happened. The Allies invaded Normandy and ended Hitler's World War II dream of the Nazis taking over the whole world. Some 1,000 German troops died but, the U.S. and our allies lost near 10,000 people on "D-Day."
