The 19th Annual (after a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic) returns tonight (June 24) to the Yakima Convention Center to honor athletes, teams, and coaches throughout the Yakima Valley and Central Washington in 21 different high school sports.

In today's (May 30) SCENE insert of the Yakima Herald-Republic, I was quoted by writer Pat Muir in his piece that was an ode to baseball.

Six local bands will be performing holiday music in their own style this Saturday night at the Seasons Performance Hall as part of "Decemberfest - A Season Of Beers And Cheers"

Ring and Rock in the holiday season with six bands performing holiday music in their own style and a variety of 5 local craft brewers pouring seasonal brews - Saturday, December 15th from 6 to 10pm at The Season's Performance Hall.

On Thursday night, I was invited to attend an awards ceremony put on by the Yakima Herald-Republic as part of their Second Annual Readers' Choice Awards. More than 160 categories were presented and yours truly was voted "Best Radio Personality."

The first class of inductees were ushered in to the Central Washington Sports Hall of Fame in a ceremony held at the Yakima Convention Center on Saturday.

Earlier today, I had the honor of co-emceeing the 12th annual Yakima Valley Sports Awards luncheon held at the Yakima Convention Center.  The awards acknowledge the most outstanding individual and team performances from the 2013-14 high school sports world in 20 categories.
