They were presented with a check worth $480,000 from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle in partnership the two local banks, Yakima Federal Savings and Loan and Central Valley Bank. The event drew some very influential people all united behind the cause of rescuing women from abusive relationships.

I will never forget being on air in Billings, Montana in June of 2002 when our radio station got an Amber Alert that a 15 year old child had been abducted from Utah.  Since we were so close to Utah and Wyoming we would always get updates
