Take a Laugh Break This Weekend!

As heard on The Big Show this morning, the KATS studio was graced by the presence of two comedic greats, Derek Sheen and Monica Nevi, as they gave us a sneak peek of the live comedy coming to the Laugh Lounge this weekend. Check them out as they take the stage Friday and Saturday nights (Oct. 24-25) starting at 8. With more than 14 years of comedy under their belts between the two of these greats, Yakima is sure to have a sideache after watching them do what they do best: make you laugh.

Derek Sheen is a featured performer at the Bridgetown, Cape Fear and S.F. Sketchfest comedy festivals, has toured with Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Janeane Garofolo and Rory Scovel! His debut album “Holy Drivel” was recorded by iconic metal producer Matt Bayles (Minus the Bear, Mastodon, Isis) and is available from Rooftopcomedy.com.

Monica Nevi has performed in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival and the Seattle International Comedy Competition as well as finishing first place in the Olympic Peninsula Comedy Competition. Opening for the likes of Jimmy Dore, John Roy and Sarah Colonna, Monica is a popular guest on podcasts and has been featured on many Seattle-based podcasts as well as co-hosting her own podcast with Mike Coletta, the Hug Life Podcast!
