Yesterday, Andy and I talked about the unlikelihood that is Disturbed's new song - a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's standard "Sound Of Silence". I submitted that it was a juxtaposition that could only be matched if, say, Avenged Sevenfold recorded a version of Captain & Tenille's "Muskrat Love".

It was then that my old chum Jesse Heinle stepped in and showed me the unadulterated awesomeness that is arguably the greatest music mash-up ever.

AC/DC, meet the Bee Gees.

One could not be expected to think that those two tastes would taste great together but when the Kings of Disco meet the Thunder From Down Under, something bizarrely pleasing unfolds.  Not since the White Stripes were blended with the Eurythmics ("Sweet Dreams Are Made Of Seven Nation Army") have I been so slack-jawed.

As heard on the "Todd & Andy Show" this morning, prepare yourself now for "Stayin' In Black"!
