Terrace Heights Man Arrested for Wife’s 2013 Killing

The Yakima County Sheriff's Office says a Terrace Heights man has been arrested near Memphis, Tennessee for the death of his wife in 2013.

On March 8th, 2013 Yakima County Deputies and detectives responded to a residence on the 4200 block of Nola Loop in Terrace Heights after getting reports that somebody had been shot. They found 27 year old McKaylee Higgs wounded, she later died from her injuries.

On Tuesday, December 30th 2014, Yakima County Deputies arrested 27 year old Cory Lindblom outside Memphis, Tennessee for the shooting. Lindblom will be held in the Shelby County jail on a warrant for First Degree Manslaughter until he's extradited back to Yakima County.

Lindblom had reported to investigators at the time of the shooting that he had accidentally shot his wife. The arrest warrant accuses Lindblom of recklessly causing the death of Higgs.
