This new video for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 features the first 15 minutes of web-slinging gameplay. Spoilers ahead, would-be webheads!

Get ready to be spoiled with the first 15 minutes of the new game based on the sequel to 'The Amazing Spider-Man,' complete with all-new mechanics, new characters and new narrative vignettes. In the video above, you'll get to see the main menus, the costume select screen and the brief intro that gets newcomers up-to-speed on the story.

Also showcased in the gameplay are some tutorial bits that highlight the new web-swinging mechanics, which allow you to shoot web individually out of either wrist. This gives Spidey a greater sense of control while swinging between the skyscrapers of Manhattan.

You'll also see some combat, which is a refined version of the original game's, but still takes from the attack-dodge-counter formula made popular by games like Batman: Arkham Asylum.

As always, the Spider Sense power is a great boon and allows for a better experience in both combat and travel. You can see it alert Spidey to the dangers of falling cranes and other environmental hazards. We can't wait until we can feel like Spider-Man again when The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is released on Apr. 29 for PlayStation, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC.
