After making their way through Europe, Japan, South America and Mexico in recent months, The Dead Daisies are ready to set foot back in the U.S. for the upcoming "Dirty Dozen" tour.

The band is currently promoting their Live and Louder concert album and they'll hit the road armed with their scintillating cover of Grand Funk Railroad's "We're an American Band." The group issued the video for the track on July 4, showing their patriotic side, and you can watch that clip right here.

Lead singer John Corabi states, "We first performed the song for our troops in South Korea. We wanted to bring a little bit of something 'American' to our men and women in uniform, and give them a taste of home. The song went over so well we decided to keep playing it and then recorded it for the album."

If the video whets your appetite, just wait to see what else the band has up their sleeves when they hit the road. The Dives will be poviding support on the trek, which kicks off Aug. 10 in Chicago. See the full dates below and get ticket info for the "Dirty Dozen" tour at the band's website.

In addition to the "Dirty Dozen" trek, the Dead Daisies will also play the following motorcycle rallies: Sturgis, S.D., at the Full Throttle Saloon on Aug. 9; the EasyRiders Rodeo Tour in Chillicothe, Ohio, on Sept. 1; and the National H.O.G. Rally at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee on Sept. 2.

So come on out and catch this American band, The Dead Daisies, promoting their Live and Louder album as it was meant to be heard.
