The final Friday of this year's Central Washington State Fair is sure to not disappoint heading into the last weekend.

Here's what you can expect if you head to State Fair Park today:

Firstly, near-perfect weather is predicted for today and for the rest of the weekend as well. Sunny skies with temps of 76, 71 and 65 are forecast with next to no wind or threat of rain.

As for the activities themselves, the carnival midway is open until 11:00 p.m. tonight. Special wristbands can be purchased for $35 which allows unlimited access on most every ride all day for one flat price.

Another big crowd is expected for tonight’s modified car racing with more sprint car racing.  The Washington Modified Nationals and Sportsman Sprint Finals will take place tonight and tomorrow night at the ½ mile dirt track at the Coca-Cola Grandstand starting at 6 p.m.  It is free to all fairgoers!

The live music highlight this evening will be provided by Vancouver B.C.'s Theory of a Deadman hitting the stage at 7:30 p.m. This is the band's second appearance in Yakima and first since 2012. This show was the first of all of the musical acts scheduled at this year's fair to sell out but there is still limited bleacher seating and a few reserved seats available through the Fair ticket office.

94.5 KATS will have a chance for you to upgrade your seats to the front of the house. Just stop by the tent on your way in to the venue to enter to win!

A couple of lucky KATS listeners will also have an opportunity to Meet & Greet the band backstage. Congrats to Karen Harvey, Shari Hart and Erin Burquhart!
