This week's episode of Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction? revolves around the Used vocalist Bert McCracken and bassist Jeph Howard. We caught up with the duo right before a Brooklyn gig to prove and disprove what's written about them on Wikipedia.

If you like your Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction? episodes full of artists clearing up fiction, we highly recommend this one. We start off with Bert's childhood and his dedication to the straight edge lifestyle. However, the Used singer clears up Wikipedia entries on editing a straight edge magazine, his childhood best friend and supposedly being kicked out of his home at age 16.

From there, we delve into the Used and exactly how McCracken was brought into the band. Wikipedia writes that guitarist Quinn Allman was the one who recruited Bert, but in this segment, you'll find out who really extended the invitation. We also ask about the origins of the Used's band name, which Jeph Howard speaks about.

The Used's breakout mainstream hit "All That I've Got" was dedicated to Bert's dog David Bowie, who was sadly run over during the In Love and Death sessions. Though this proved to be true, there's more to the story as told by McCracken in this clip.

As many Used fans know, Bert currently lives in Australia after moving away from Los Angeles. The vocalist addresses the reason why he left and why he "ran for my life from the United States."
